Released in 2009 UFC Undisputed has sold  3.5 million copies, now the THQ team has been hard at work to reward gamers with an ever more realistic and fluid experience for their 2010 entry, set to hit retail shelves on May 25.

In a recent conversation with reporters Dana Whites said that he wants to give fans "Title fights that people actually care about." He also stated that he has no plans in setting up Dos Santos vs Velasquez as he would like to give them both title shots.

"Dos Santos got himself in the mix the other day," White said. "If you question whether he should be or not, he showed you the other night that he should be. The great thing is, a guy asked me out there, 'Are you going to do Cain Velasquez against dos Santos now?' The way I see it is, and the way my luck has gone lately, with injuries and stuff, I think you keep these guys in line."

White said the winner of the UFC 111 fight between Frank Mir and Shane Carwin would be first in line for a shot at heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar. Velasquez is next in line after the Mir-Carwin winner, and dos Santos is after that.

"You've got Mir and Carwin fighting, whoever comes out, if the winner doesn't have any cuts or break his hand or anything like that, he goes right out and fights Brock Lesnar this summer," White said. "Then you've got Cain Velasquez waiting in the wings for the next fight. Then you've got dos Santos ready for the next one. I like having those guys in line and we'll have a lot of good fights -- title fights that people actually care about."

Recenly reported that Wanderlei Silva's next fight will be against Yoshihiro Akiyama.

According to the magazine: One of the fighters has signed and returned his bout agreements and the other is expected to be returned this week, making the clash official for UFC 116.

Silva is coming off a unanimous decision win over Bisping, his first fight since dropping to the middleweight division. He has gone 2-3 since joining the UFC in the wake of PRIDE FC’s demise, with three of those fights taking place at light-heavyweight.

Akiyama made his North American debut at UFC 100 and defeated Alan Belcher in his first fight for the company. The former K-1 HERO’s light-heavyweight champion is an accomplished judoka and has just one loss on his 16-fight record.

Last Sunday night Jon Jones scored a skull cracking victory over Brandon "the Truth" Vera (has three fractures to his right cheekbone), that left UFC president very impressed.  Although impress Dana White has not plans on giving him a title shot in the near future: "I’d like to see him get another year under his belt. And in that year, before he got a shot at the title, he’d have to take out Rashad (Evans), Rampage (Quinton Jackson), possibly Shogun (Mauricio Rua) or (Lyoto) Machida, and then get the title shot. There aren’t many guys out there like this guy. God knows what this guy can do. It’s going to be interesting to watch."

Broomfield, Colo-- In perhaps his biggest test up to this point in his career, light heavyweight prospect Jon Jones continued to live up to his potential as he quickly disposed of Brandon "The Truth" Vera in under one round. The twenty-two year old fighter set the pace of the fight from the get go rushing in and taking his opponent to the ground. Vera would mostly work from his guard attempting to get to his feet, he eventually caught Jones with a illegal up kick that caused a pause in the action. Referee Herb Dean restarted both fighters in their initial positions and soon after Jones landed a series of elbows that immediately made Vera grimace in pain. The Philippine fighter turtled up before the bout was stopped at 3:19 of the first. Jones seemed very confident that he would get the win, "I definitely didn't take Brandon Vera lightly. I studied him day and night. I studied all his footage. I almost I felt as if I knew him before I stepped in here with him."
